Yeast infections can diffently effect your periods. You said that there was some burning this is a sign of an urinary tract infection. You want to go see your doctor so that you can get put on an antibiotic to help cure the infection. Here is what you can do to also clear the infection and help prevent it from happening again: Clean yourself with either baby wipes or vaginal pads twice a week after you urinate and when you period ends use a deusch, the deusch cleans out what might still be in when you are done. You are probably thinking, but I have never had sex that would hurt? Honey it won't and it having sex has nothing to do with deusching. You need to talk with your mother/guardian about these things also so that she can explain them to you or take you to some one who can. But I think that you need to see a doctor to find out if this is a UTI or Yeast infection!!!!

I'm happy to hear you're still a virgin. Good for you. It could be an infection, nothing wrong with that but you'd have to get treatment for it. It's not that you did anything wrong though. Make sure you talk with one of your parents. You will have to see a doctor though. There are many things that could affect your period. Make sure you bring this to someone's attention. It can get worse without treatment. Feel better soon.
