Althought I hate to admit it, I would probably make the same mistakes over again.

Where would I begin?
If I had a chance to live life over again I would not pick up that first drink when I was 16 just because I wanted to be cool. That lead down many paths that lead to many other things that would cause me to think "This isn't fun anymore".
Its funny because when you have adults telling you "thats not good" you think to yourself at 16 "what do they know". What you don't know at 16 is those adults were once 16 and they just may have gone down that exact same path.
Now that I am 28 I try to advise teen nieces and nephews of the consequences in life but they give me that same glazed-look I use to get!
Mind blowing isn't it....

I would go to college earlier and choose a different line of work, for sure. Instead of being just a Med Tech, would go to college to be a doctor or a vet. Or a pharmacist. I would not marry my first husband. I would wait to have sex, too. I would be kinder to my parents. I would move from my hometown earlier, too.

I would have stayed in school and gotten a Master's degree and perhaps even a phd. I would have taken a different career path although mine was ok, just not my first choice. I am retired now.

my only regret was not joining the airforce when i had the chance. everything else has been ok. life is what we make of it. good luck!
