Normally newspaper have in microfilm their editions from many years back, but they charge for it, just log in to the one you need to read and you'll find out the way to the article you're looking for, good luck..☺

Go to the library and request use of the microfische machine. Usually the newspaper articles are transferred to microfische and you can go back and look at any dates you need.

the local library has a good reference section, ask for the old newspapers in your area, I know here in Canada everything is on microfilm from years ago

Your local library should have it on microfische (sp?).
