Deffenatly the region around Carthage and Italy. The Romans were the most influential on the world. They gave the known world culture and civilation. The Carthiginians were extreamly influential also due to their superior ships.

I would say Europe. A lot of written history is preserved and understood. Other area's also have history but I thinks Europe is the best documented
