Life!!

What a wonderful ride it has been!

:)

(Least people think I've not been through adversity with that answer, it's not the case: I've had a house burn; another lost in a flood; had close family members die, including a younger sister unexpectedly; lost love; had four surgeries; been in a head-on collision; and more. Life is not about what happens to you, but about what you do with it! Live it!)

I am divorced but the best thing that happened was the birth of my son. He is now 21 years old and a fine young man. So it was definitely worth all those years of living with that cold b*tch.

My dog Theo. My husband had taken his own life in Aug. 2003, and our little Schnauzer died [at 13] exactly 9 months to the day after. My state of mind was not great. And I never wanted another dog. But now I have this gorgeous loving, loveable, intelligent creature who gave me a reason to get up in the mornings.

On a deep level, having kids, I'd swore I'd never have them but I'd have missed out on so much if I hadn't, it's motived me so much & I'm training as a Midwife now, would never have done that if I'd not been through the system!

On a shallow level, I won tickets to see Prince back in 97 or there abouts, I was 17ish, my mum had said I couldn't go, but then I won tickets & she let me (I think she was just being tight!)...great gig!

my sister lost her first child 1 day after birth. When my nephew was born and he was healthy and strong, that was the best thing for me. He's now 7 and very fit and clever.
