That would depend on the transmission, standard or automatic! Also, get yourself a Chilton's for $15 at your local auto parts store and you will have all the information you need! Good investment! It's also in the owners manual generally and I know it is online because I have numerous ones on my computer for the pick ups that I downloaded right online!!!

For god sake don't do like that other moron said and put 14 quarts of transmission fluid in your toyota. If you are just doing a fluid/filter change then start out with three then start your car. Keep adding and checking as necessary. If you installed a brand new transmission and there is no fluid in it at all. Then put in three quarts, start the vehicle, and add at least three more and start checking it. You should also move the shifter from drive to reverse and back again a few times. Also look on the dipstick and see if your transmission needs to be in neutral or park when you check it because some of them are different. Hope this helped you out.

Is that a new car or are you referring to the Camry? Check the owners manual or go to a transmission shop or the library and ask them that question. Both will have copies of the shop manuals for those cars. This book will tell you everything about the car right down to the size of the screws holding the ash tray in place.
