Good Colleges to go to?

The best college for you would be the one that offers lots of instruction for the field you'd like to enter.
For example: you want to be a lawyer...so Harvard may be a really good college for you. Meanwhile, you want to be a lawyer ... so MIT would NOT be a good college for you because MIT is a technology-oriented campus.
Which colleges offer the major you want? . ...with additional courses to help you work towards your doctorate's, if you so desire.
Before you take any courses at a community and/or technical college, you may want to verify that those courses will later transfer to the credit system for the larger educational institutions in your state.

By the way, college will be a blast because you get more flexibility about the courses you take, etc. It will be harder work, and you'll have to learn good time-management skills, and you'll find yourself being very proud of your accomplishments!
