I'm a RN who has to work at a children's hospital on Halloween night. In the "spirit" of Halloween some of us want to dress up. Any ideas that won't interfer with our dress code (which is any color scrubs) is comfortable and will allow me to work.

I'm going to go to my work dressed up as our annual raise. I'm going to take the day off and not show up either.

Flutterfies answer is really good. I also recommend accessories. As long as it doesn't interfer with your work ergonomically. Just don't have anything that will fall of into a dressing. Also nothing that will give nightmares, as that will make it harder for the night nurses. Attitude is a big part of the fun.

Some children like clowns, dress as a lady clown, with colorful hair or hat,a dress that is a tad too big, with a colorful corsage, big necklace, belt, sash or neck scarf, funny shoes, and makeup to boot.
Actually anything goes with a clown suit, the funnier the better.

Sure–anything with ears and a tail. You could be a cat, a rabbit, a dog, Mickey or Minnie Mouse. Just go to your local Halloween store or Target/Walmart and see what you can find. You can use an eyeliner pencil to make whiskers.

Try painting your face in some fun way, or go as a clown.
