I can't really name a specific movie, but the best scariest movies are the ones that are actually true. Friday the13th, Nightmare on Elm street, Hell Raiser, The Blade, and other similiar movies aren't that scary because you know they aren't real.

One thing that would be like the best scary movie is maybe stepping in dog poop in bare feet. That would be like a scary movie, I think.
(I know what you meant, and I think you did, too, but see what trying to sound cool does? It wrecks our language and changes your intentions.

Tough question, I know when I was little, like 12y/o "The legend of Bogey Creek" terrified me, but now I think the scariest movie would be the original exorcist

the movies i found the scariest were:
Hostel
Texaz Chainsaw Massacre
The Devils Rejects
that's all i can think of at the moment... there are heaps more though
