Yes. Major differences are in the circulatory and respiratory systems. First frogs have a 3 chambered heart and human have a four chambered heart. This has implications in both the heart structure and blood vessel efficiency in the lung area for oxygen diffusion. As for the respiratory system frogs have the ability to breathe oxygen through their skin and humans must take oxygen in through their nasal passages/lungs. As a result frog lungs are extremely reduced and are about the size of the frog kidney. Human lungs are much larger than the human kidney. As for the reproductive/excretory system. Humans have different passages for the excretion of solid and liquid waste. Frogs excrete all of their waste from one place called a cloaca. Frogs also have external fertilization of eggs whereas human females retain the fertilized eggs until the human child has metamorphosed to its mature form. Therefore there is effectively no uterus in a frog. Male frogs also lack an external gential organ.

Humans are warm blooded mammals with body hair and sweat glands on their waterproof skin. Frogs are cold blooded amphibians that can absorb and excrete water (as well as breathe through) their skin. Many can excrete toxins through the skin, and these tend to be aposomatic in colouration. Some can even change the colour of the skin (like a chameleon) through hormonal regulation to aid camouflage and assist in thermoregulation (They are ectotherms).

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.
