Are you looking for straight friends? Do what anyone would do and hang out...talk to ppl. If they like you, they'll like you for who you are, not what you are.
Good luck :)

Keep looking most people are not homophobic. Homo-uneasy yes but not right out anti-gay. Try to find your local Mensa chapter, we tend to be far more open minded than most people.
Being straight myself, I have found that gays& lesbians tend to have high IQ's. Because of this we have many in Mensa that are gay. I also have quite a few gay & lesbian freinds.
Don't worry if you are not a genious, most Mensans are very welcoming. We very rarely ask for a membership card at events.

Why do you feel guilty? Because you are gay, or because you don't like hiding who you are? You may need to talk to a therapist about some of this. Try looking into a gay-straight alliance club, people are accepting there. Good luck.

getting a straight one? it's not getting, but having. We can have friends that are very understanding and they can help us with our problems. WE just need to open it up to the RIGHT person. Know your friends first before acting. It is more likely to feel how they act upon your actions, in that, we can see how they will view you and how they will treat you. I'm sorry but i'm not an expert on this one... your subject is really a good one to talk about. thanks

Your friend won't be able to accept you as you are if you can't even accept yourself. And you are not gay because you were molested, you are gay because you were born that way. I know this is something that you don't want to hear or believe, but sister, that's the truth.

you should put yourself out there a little more and sooner or later you will most definitely have straight friends... they will most likely be girls because f@g hags are pretty common but i don't think a straight guy friend is out of the question. not at all.

I have aquantances who are der zauberin, but they know I don't go that route and don't even try anything with me. Also, they don't flounce. Other than that, good friendship. A couple are even in advanced stages of AIDS. If you are uncomfortable, the reason may be you know it is not normal. Romans 1:18-32
