how can I save space in writing sense my use of words big or small is affected by that

If you use many big words, there will be fewer spaces between words, and therefore space will be saved, provided you use a lesser number of words.

For example "You are the epitome of sybaritic pulchritude", uses bigger words than "You a pretty girl", but it requires six spaces between words, while the latter sentence requires only three.

I think you may be mistaken about the objectives of writing, however: the purpose is almost never to save space.

There is ample space for every word you might write.

Especially cyberspace. You are just moving electrons around in cyberspace.
