Does anyone else hate it when people act all happy and spunky when you first wake up from sleeping? I do my roomate is way to happy and I want to choke him. anyone else?

I LITERALLY just woke up and this was the first question I saw...weird...but anyway, YES, I absolutely HATE people that are waaay too perky first thing in the morning, but the thing I hate even more than THAT?? A roommate who is about 20 years older than me asking me s**t as soon as I open my eyes. NOT anything IMPORTANT either, this is s**t he could most definitely figure out for himself. Like "Is the milk still good?" and "I don't know how to turn the heat on". Not things I wanna hear first thing in the morning. Why can't he ask me "hey, would you like a cup of coffee?"

I didn't used to be but now that I am working two jobs the way I see it is any opportunity I have at home is good whether I am just waking up or not.

I get up drink an Ensure and a cup of coffee then I'm all bright eyed and bushy tailed, sorry but at least my dogs are happy too.

Maybe he hates it that you wake up like someone who had a snail crawl up their rear-end in the night.
I used to think I was a morning person, before my kids came along, I was definately the chipper one in the mornings, then all of a sudden, "morning" turned into 5:00 AM and begin with "I WANNA POPTART!!!!" and I'm not a morning person anymore. :-)

I'm so not a morning person and happy cheerful people in the morning make my eyes roll back in my head...lol. I need quiet in the mornings.

I do hate it. I have a daughter who is the same, we used to argue and growl at each other thruogh 12 years of me getting her up to go to school. We couldn't speak to each other in the mornings.

yeah they are always like that here in the army. they act like its the greatest thing to wake up and expect you to be happy. but im not. all i want is to go back to bed and wake up when im good and ready. and throwing trash cans around and screaming dont help too much either. it almost.... ENRAGES me..

I stumble around for an hour, trying to get enough caffeine to face the day, I thought that was how everyone woke up.
