Ozzy Osbourne is a great songwriter. I know he is a little "out of it in the head sometimes" but he can write some kick-@ss lyrics. He wouldn't be anything if it wasn't for his guitarist's that he's had in the past Randy Rhodes, Jake E. Lee, and Zakk Wylde.
