there are some great yoga tapes out by muriel hemingway and rodney yee that have 10 minute routines for morning and evening. It will help you stay flexible, relaxed and center and even with a crazy work schedule you can probably squeeze in 10 minutes before work and 10 minutes before bed

The recommendation is 30 minutes of cardio daily. Have you tried walking over lunch, at your federally recommended 15 minutes breaks or even waking up 10-15 minutes earlier or going to bed 10-15 minutes later. It may not seem like much but it all adds up and the health department states that it can be broken into small amounts and not all at once. Also things can be done in an office setting like chair dips that can work the triceps and wall push ups. I also made an excuse to not work out saying that I never had the time until someone brought all the above suggestions to my attention.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

You have to make time..sorry.
You don't have to go to the Gym. And you don't have to take up jogging. Get up 30 minutes earlier in the morning.
I personally do Pilate's and yogalates...I have a DVD and i use it three to 5 times a week. I like it because of all the stretching and strength training. It has helped me feel better throughout the day both mentally and physically. You are just going to have to incorporate it into your life. I personally hate anything aerobic. I hate running and I refuse to ride a bike that doesn't go anywhere. Find something you can tolerate for at least 30 minutes a day. Get your heart rate up. And enjoy the moment. your body will thank you for it and also reward you with a better feeling body.
By the way...I'm a Chef...Sometimes I work 12 to 15 hours a day. So the time thing is just your excuse....Get up and move around.
Regardless of weight loss...it just makes you feel better.

hi i can see you work but working that hours does not stop you doing exercise , you can exercise before you go bed you can do 20 minutes exercise then, theres no real excuse for some exercise and just in case your thinking that you are sooooo tired when you get home from work that you feel to drained to exercise, then i can tell you that if you put some exercise in each day for 20 minutes or more with a good healthy balanced diet, you will find that your health will improve and with the exercise your doing it will actually increase your energy levels so you can sustain it all day long and then you can do exercise with no problem , you can also do 10 minutes exercise when you get up early in the morning before work and 10 minutes when you get home.

I work a 10hr shift, too. Luckily here, we have an Anytime Fitness gym that's open 24/7. That way, if the only time I can squish in a workout is 7 am or 11 pm, there's no problem. You might want to check out your area and see if any local gyms have this type of setup. Or, try grabbing a few cheap workout dvd's that you can do at home when you have a few moments to yourself. Remember, you only need about 30 mins a day- most of us spend that in traffic each day, at least. :)

When you go up and down stairs, instead of walking, run up the steps. or take them two at a time. do leg bends while you are cooking.
