I haven't played all of them but the one that I like is the first one on the N64. I found that really addictive. What is your favorite one?

Ocarina of Time. Critically acclaimed, sold millions, and is often one of the top rated games in any video game publications.(game rankings has it as the highest rated game of all time, ahead of halo2, Half life 2, any GTA game, any FF games, any mario games, )

N64 was fantastic, but I'm playing it again and I've gotten stuck in the underwater cavern...I think I have to start over from the beginning. I've not gotten to Majora's Mask yet, but it looks fascinating and very difficult.

I loved Wind Waker, it's the only one that I've actually beaten.

And Minish Cap kicked butt, too. But I'm stuck at the very end against the main bad guy. Can't seem to beat him.

I have almost all of the games (except the one that requires four players because I don't have anybody to play with), and when I get frustrated with one, I move to another and play it until I get frustrated with it and move on. By the time I've gotten back around to the first one that I got frustrated with, I'm no longer frustrated and can get to the next level.

I haven't gotten the one that came out last year, but I don't have the system that it goes on...now I can't remember what it was...Gamecube? What system is Twilight Princess on? I need to get on the ball and buy more systems. I wish they put out more for the Gameboy, because that's what I use most, it's portable. I can play it at work while I'm waiting for the phone to ring.

I love how only 2 girls answered this question.

Majora's Mask for me is the best of the newer versions of zelda it had sum great side quests and the implementation of the masks and the three different links, Goron, Deku and Zora make it more unique then any of the other games in the series.
Ocarina of time could also be argued as the best as it was the first 3d zelda game for which Major's Mask was modeled on.

try some of the older zelda games too like Link's awakening or a Link to the past.

i've played them all, except oracle of ages and oracle of seasons...
--------
of course i enjoyed the legend of zelda (nes), but it really is a little more difficult than it needed to be. it was also hard to save. you had to die or beat a dungeon

legend of link on nintendo was actually more decent than people give it credit for. but it doesn't feel like a zelda.

links awakening [DX] on gameboy color was surprisingly good. i was shocked.

super nintendo had the game i consider the best, but that might be just because of how much i played the death out of it. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was done really well

n64 had two great games, as well, ocarina of time tying in second, after the SNES masterpiece. majora's mask was better than people give it credit for

gamecube had the windwaker, which was great. at first, i thought the childish appearance would put me off, but the game was excellent, but sailing and turning the winds really does get boring after a while.

minish cap was also quite fun, but i got bored near the end

i can't wait for the new games to come out.

yea, sure, twilight princess on both gamecube and the wii looks great, but it's not those games i'm waiting for

i just can't wait for zelda: phantom hourglass on the DS - it looks fantastic
---------
in the meantime, i'd have to say that A Link to the Past, the super nintendo game that was remade into gamecube's 'Four Swords Adventure' is the best zelda game, at least for me

I haven't played all of them but I've played enough to say that it's Ocarina of Time for the N64, hands down.

Twilight Princess. It's not out yet but is promised by nintendo to be 'by far the best Zelda'

And the 2 on the n64 ARE NOT the 1st Zeldas. NOOB!

The wind waker is amazing. It takes a bit of time to get into but once you are off it is by far the best in the series. Ocarina of time comes a close second.
