I would give that a solid 8, I might suggest changing the motherboard to something with the 965P chipset, but that is up to you. Unless you are one of those obsesive gamers, this should last you at least a year or two.

Now, I wanna address some of the stuff the other people said. To the 1st guy, like I said unless you are an obsesive gamer, this should last at least a year. To the 2nd guy, you could upgrade the RAM, but its not necessary, and your card is fine unless you just have money to burn. 3rd person, well I think of covered this already. 4th guy, while the 7950GT would be a slight upgrade, it also cost more, the 7600GT would be a downgrade from what he already has, so that makes no sense. 5th guy, idiot, plain and simple. 6th guy, good point. 7th guy, some good points, but the 650W is good for future proofing, and he is confusing chipsets with sockets.

Don't listen to half these guys, this is a fine computer.
If it were me, I would tone down the proc, for the 1.86ghz C2D, because you can overclock it big time, and you'll save quite a bit of money. Is your gc ddr2, or ddr3? Does that 650w PSU come with the case you're buying? If not, you don't need 650watts. For this particular system, you won't need more than 500w. Another thing I noticed is your mobo, 945P Chipset will not support a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo. Make sure to get something with a LGA775 Chipset. Or else both those items will just be pretty paperweights. The that other guy above me, talking about 4gbs of RAM and how ever many hdd's is a total idiot. The proc alone costs more than this whole set up. Do some homework, dummy!

10 being the best possible, that is a 6 or 7 for gaming
i would change the graphics card to something such as a 7950 GT (it is 280 bucks or so on newegg.com)
or if your budget is lower, go with a 7600 GT
if you want, you can upgrade your RAM from 1gb to 2gb
it DOES increase performance by alot
this computer SHOULD last you atleast a year
new tech is coming out soon
like DX10 cards and Quad Core
so... i'm not too sure

Good but not great 7/10.

More RAM.
Better graphics card.

Life of a serious gaming machine between some partial upgrade is about 6 months and total system replace 12-18 months.

Might want to upgrade your Ram and Your video card. Especially if your a gamer. I would give it a 7-8. Pretty good. It might last you 6 months to a year. Like the other guy said.

It's about an 8. It will probably last about 6 months to a yr before you have to upgrade at least the memory.

That's of course if you're a heavy gamer.
