I have to edit the details again... It does NOT have any funny things, e.g. redness, discolouration, just exactly same as the other hand. My first-aid friend says it would be OK, but it isnt, at least until now

You may have broken a bone. Has there been any swelling or discoloration? If you're worried, get it checked out.

Fingers are just like any of your other joints. It is possible that it is out of socket. sometimes when a joint goes out of socket the pain can feel like a small bruise. You said that you hurt it about two months ago, Have you ever had problems with arthritis before then? Because if you injure an area that has arthritis it can take longer too heal. Have you been to a doctor for this injury. It doesn't sound like a broken bone, but it could be out of socket or just sprained. I would suggest you have a doctor look at it!!

You might want to visit with your doctor. It's possible you may have broken or cracked a bone in your hand. Is there any swelling or redness? It takes a while for a severe bruise to resolve. But if you are having severe pain, especially with swelling, redness, increased warmth to the area, you definitely need to see a doctor. Take ibuprofen or tylenol for the discomfort. Sometimes ice, warm moist heat , or a combination of the two in alternating sequence can help.
