my English teacher who i had at the beginning of this year told the class a story of a boy who ran away from home?(not to sure)but went 2 california and ditched his car and hitch hiked to Alaska or some how ended up in Alaska where he lived in an abandoned school bus,He died by what people think from eating berries which happened to be poisonous the kid was a teenager and very bright,people knew he was to smart for that,i belive his death was unknown

"Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer. It's a great book!

Can't you just ask your English teacher? I've looked all over the web and can't find it. I've read the book, a true and very depressing story about a bright young man who felt he never fit in and could not get socially adjusted.

Could you give a clearer description? or maybe you could save yourself the trouble of asking many ppl by just asking ur teacher....
