If a woman is a whore, they claim she is acting as so in rebellion to men's oppression. Why can't she just be called for what she is, a whore? If a woman is b!tchy, they claim it's because of men provoking her. Why can't they blame what should be blamed, PMS ?! Why do feminists blame all of women's problems on men, but none of men's problems on women?

ummmm becasue they are FEMINISTS and by default 99% of feminists HATE MEN.... I know it sounds easy and simple but it is usually true.... I think this is a great question....thanks for asking it becasue you are right....people should not hide behind excuses....they should call it for what it is ! this applies to both sexes and all situations.....people need to take ownership for the way they act.

I think you misunderstand what a feminist is and is not.
According to dictionary.com a feminist is simply a philosophy "of or relating to or advocating equal rights for women". Nothing more.
I agree that there are a great many misconceptions about this as many flying the feminist banner are very aggressive in their interpretations but they don't necessarily represent the true feminist movement. An analagous situation is with Islamic fanatics don't represent all of Islam (the fanatics espouse violence while most of Islam is quite peaceful).

To your point about a sexually active woman being a whore while a sexually active man is a stud (those kids of issues). Another example is a male teacher who has sex with an underage female student is a perverted disgusting pedophile while the female teacher who has sex with her underage male student is accepted. In both cases above there is a double standard related to the gender of the individual. I believe there are many "angry feminists" that want to address and change these double standards but perhaps are using methods that don't carry much favor with the greater population.

I guess the point of distinction is that, like many things, true feminism is probably something most people accept as a good thing but sometimes when taken to the extreme becomes problematic.

hope this helps.

ALL feminists do not blame everything on men. I am a feminist, and that means, to me, that I am proud of being a woman and appreciate the differences between women and men. I think that there is something sacred in the differences between the male and female essences. Maybe that makes me old fashioned or weird, but I say that being a feminist is not about blame but about loving yourself and your own femininity.

POWER VACUME

In the past femmenist needed to get sufferage and men stood in there way , as well as education and in the workplace.

When the old patrirachy was removed it created a power vacume .At first sufferage , education and workplace issues were addressed. However these issues have been addressed and are being addressed .The radicals came to power and co-opted the femmenist movement and they NEEDED an enemy to sustain them . Men however bad they are about it are taught to at least make the FEEBLE , HUMBLE ,ATTEMPT to empathize with a womans situation .

Women are taught just the opposiste . They are give an OVERDOSE prescription of ,"You Go GirL"

The thing is that today things are very different, and standards have lifted. But if you look back at the past and see some of the exuses society came up with for keeping women in their role as a "mother'' you would be shocked.

Bascilly women who were married were not allowed to work. As they need to tend for the children. There was a whole crazy science to it, and it was really ingrained into society the roles that men and women play.

Feminists are extremists. All extremists, whether they be feminists, religious fanatics or political extremists, see things only from an extreme and impartial point of view. This may be by design or otherwise but they analyze everything from a pre-conceived position such that quite often they sound utterly ridiculous and nonsensical.

Good question. I can't answer this because I am curious as well. I help my wife with the dishes, the cleaning, the kids, I remember special days, send her little notes for no reason, and I'm not half bad in the bedroom even if I say so myself. yet despite all this my wife says she still tells her girlfriends she suffers with PMS...."putting up with men's sh*t"....at home. Go figure...???

Obviously your very angry. Why is that? You can't blame feminism for your own misfortunes. You can't get a man? Is that why you're now blaming feminism?

Feminism have pointed out how the patriarchal system and/or male dominated society have enforced her oppression.

If you're a whore, don't blame feminism for that. Because in the end feminism also teach "self-respect", that no one is responsible for her, but herself.

In the past, men blamed everything on women: such as Adam and Eve. It's her fault why the world is in a turmoil, she shouldn't have given Adam the apple. They should realize that men are not robots. Adam is at fault as well, he took the apple volunarily and bit in to it.

Helen of Troy: Her only crime was beauty. Men blame her for their own weaknesses.

In the past, if a woman dressed inappropriately, she was blamed for her own rape. They say she asked for it by the way she dressed. Men were portrayed as "weak willed".

In the past, men blamed the woman if he didn't succeed. He got horny for her, got her pregnant, had to marry her, so he whined the rest of his life that she ruined him.

If a woman was beaten and pulverized, it was her own fault for "talking back" (when in reality, she tried to "explain" what he was accusing her of).

I can go on and on, but I won't. I'm sure you must have a bit of understanding at this point.

Today, feminism empowers other women so she doesn't set herself up in to abusive relationships; teaches her that she can think for herself; she's not an object to be used merely for sex; housekeeper; baby machine; servant, etc.

She's being taught that she's more than just someone's property who can do with her as he wants.

If you feel threatened by feminism, then stop reading the material, the questions, or the answers.

I'm not sure what to think,
......and even less sure of what to say.

But as a white male, if I don't make it in this world ....I can only blame myself...And that says two very seperate things.

But what I really want to know........

If I am SO adavantaged, then where's my Golden Ticket?

it quite is improbable to a pair feminists that some women human beings do no longer choose to be athletes, employer moguls and scientists. i recognize it quite is demanding for them to believe besides the shown fact that it quite is the fact. it is likewise demanding for them to believe women human beings artwork interior the intercourse industry through fact it quite is undemanding money. to respond to what Plant stated,it quite is through fact i in my opinion do no longer choose those careers and that i've got by no potential met a woman in actual lifestyles who did. it quite is large for women human beings to decide for their very own course.
