Itching is just another symptom of pregnancy. Using a moisturiser may help.
I found where I itched was where stretch marks come up and while some stretch mark creams can help the appearnace of these marks, some woman are born lucky not to get them and others get them as a reminder of their PWS (Pregnancy War Scars) a term of endearment I read in a pregnancy book. Your body goes thru such a transformation it's incrediable.
But as for stretchmarks a midwife who specialised in this area said it's all genetic. Some woman get stretch marks and some don't due to their skin and she told me that the creams and lotions help the appearance for some women not all.
Good Luck to you and your darling bundle of joy. God Bless.

Oh yes. Very very normal. It's just your skin stretching and growing to make room for that little person. Try to keep lotion on hand and apply it as often as possible. Also, talk to your doctor about hydrocortizone cream. I'm not sure if it could have any effects on the baby, so I would ask your OB or the pharmacist.
And the answer from Mary M was great!!! Cocoa butter lotion is great for your skin!! It makes it so incredibly soft!!!!
Good luck Mommy and congratulations!!!

Yes, this is your skin expanding and the closer that you get to delivery the more it will itch. Keep cocoa butter close by and when your belly itches rub the lotion instead of scratching. This will help to prevent stretchmarks and soothe the itchiness. Remember the more you scratch the deeper your stretchmarks.Good LLuck

Yes. The skin is probably stretched tight by now and that's why it itches. Get some kind of cream or lotion with cocoa butter or jojoba oil in it. Good Luck with the baby.

Very normal. As previously advised, get some cream and rub it all over your stretching belly. While the cream will NOT help prevent stretch marks, it will certainly help to eliminate the itching.

Lotion your belly. Dry skin happens alot in pregnancy. Keep lotion around and rub it on or have the hubby/boyfriend give you a belly massage. I have a friend and when I get so far along her and her kids begged me to come over so that they could just rub my belly. It is and was so relaxing.

Its normal, the skin is stretching. Get some oil (massage oil or just plain vegetable oil will do) and rub it in once a day.
