(You must have a credit card to initiate an acct) You can have your acct set up to where payments for purchases you make are charged either to you credit card or taken directly from your checking acct. Once you have a paypal acct, should you ever sell anything online yourself at such sites as ebay, people will also be able to pay you electronically via your paypal acct.
