Relax, I have read most of the answers that tell you to purify your house, ask him to leave, banish him. If he is there for a purpose, and he is a ghost, not a demon (that would be my guess), don't worry about him. Consider him a roommate. His purpose may not be clear to you yet, but it will be at some point. There may be something in your past you don't remember that connected you to him. Here's a thought for you: my house is not haunted, but I have had spirits come to my house - one actually sat on the edge of my bed to wake me up. They needed me to get messages to other people. You have a gift, sounds like he is as afraid as you are. I would also suggest moving the sitting room sofa and seeing if there is a loose floorboard or any space that can't be accounted for in the plans for your house. It may be that the spirit left something there and either wants you to find it, or wants you to get it to someone else (a descendant or friend most likely). If you move the sofa and he moves with it, chances are good there is just a message to be passed on, ask him what it is. Be pure of heart and calm when you do this. The actual dead (ghosts) can do no harm to the living except scare us, especially at Halloween. You are safe. Spirits don't need to be banished, demons do - and for that you will need someone with much more knowledge.

If he's active and seems to see you, you might try an old Santaria fix: Throw salt in all the corners of the house. Start at the front door and go counter clockwise through the house. Then when you get to the front door, take a brand new broom and beat the corners from the floor to the ceiling and then sweep the salt out of the corner. Continue counter clockwise until you get to the front door and then sweep all the badness out the front door while saying a prayer. I know that sounds corny, but it works.

If the ghost is inactive and seems more like a clip of a movie replaying itself, you can burn a pink candle. It probably won't do much, though. Inactive ghosts are more like residual flash images, kind of like seeing spots when your eyes are closed after looking at a bright light.

Calm down. Here is what you do. You lit a candle and ask the spirit to show it self. Don't be afraid and don't yell at it. Politely ask it what he/she wants. I fsomething bad happens i suggest to move out of the house because you have a killer ghost on your hand. But i don't think that he'll be bad. He's probably there to watch over you and to protect you and your family. Yuo can ask him if you want to go away but this will just anger it. So you can talk to the spirit and ask it why is it here. Then ifit has a problem or if it's sad try to calm it and the best thing to do is to tell it that you want to be his friend and that you don't want to hurt it.Then thatnk it for appearing and blow out the candle. Sometimes you can lit a candle and thank the spirit for watching and protecting you and your family.

I had almost the same problem in my home since the woman who had owned it died there and was not found for over 2 weeks what was left of her after her 4 dogs and 2 cats got done with her. I just told her to go to the light and it was ok to go because I would take very good care of her home and then she could rest in peace. You may need to tell him he is dead, cause sometimes he really won't know. Good Luck!

yea u can ignore it, yea it'll go away
however it'll also come back, again and again
i guess the old man doesn't want to leave, neither does u it seem, or do u? u can move out if u want, cuz the old man aint goin NOWHERE, there must be something in yo house that he's attached to, unless it's u! that's of course a different story...
o wait.. i forgot to mention, maybe the old man has a few friends "other" friends wit him in the house too
it doesn't seem like u knoe much about your situation or wat to do, it doesn't matter wat me or anyone tells u, most likely u'll have to get use and be friendly wit your "friends", or get out
or otherwise.. GET A SPECIALIST

don't think about it or stop watching scary movies. pretend its just ur imagination (even if its not) or u could try talking with them. wat are their names? do they speak english or spanish maybe even cambodian language of some sort? is he hot? maybe it's a future boyfrined or trusted frined. if they don't say anything or look/recongnize u, then ask a friend (trusted friend so u don't get freaked out that he/she's a gost too) to come over and chekc it out if they see it too. also look up the house or waht used to be in the same location. maybe the gost was visisting an old friend or something. (Maybe I watch too many tv shows)

Get a box of salt and spread it all around your house in a circle. Tell it to go, move on that he or she is dead. Keep saying it. Hopefully he will just disappear, into the unknown. Good luck with your problem.

You have a couple of choices that you can do. If you just leave it alone because aren't actually bad. You can try to speak with the spirit and ask him to leave. Finally you can just do a blessing and get the spirit to go away.

Tell them they are welcome and that you will keep living here you just dont want to feel scared...they will respect you and your life ... if they are really too much for you ask them to be a little less obvious so you can all be comfortable in your home... if worse comes to worse ask them if they would leave as it makes you too uncomfortable to stay with them...no harm or rudeness intended just courtesy... good luck

once you're sure it's not the neighbor trying to take a sneak-peek at your nightie, i'd go take a closer look and see what you can really see. is it real or is it somehow an illusion? if you determine it's real, find the house history and see if there's a historical reason.
