Yes. BT runs well on Mac OS. But you cannot install the CD that you got along with the welcome pack. The BT software is not compatible with MAC. You cannot use the BT Yahoo! browser or Internet Explorer on Mac. Connect the computer to the router/hub using ethernet cable. Open the browser and start browsing to Internet. If you want the USB drivers for the router/hub, first connect using ethernet cable and access internet. Then download the USB drivers from the following link:
http://btyahoo.com/drivers.

No. Apple does use Intel chipsets these days, but they still manufacture their own custom motherboards that are different from those found in standard PCs. For example, Apple motherboards don't have a BIOS. They also have a security chip. OS X is designed so that it won't install or run if it doesn't find that chip. The only way to circumvent this is to use an illegally cracked version of the OS. Since it's cracked, it can't be patched or updated. Since Apple only provides drivers for their own hardware, you have to trust some cracker to write drivers for you and hope they have a clue and they haven't included some kind of viral payload. You end up with a system that's illegal, unstable, can't be patched, can potentially be remotely deactivated by Apple, and may be pre-infected.

Hi,
Yes BT Yahoo will work fine on an apple mac. You will need to contact BT when connecting for the first time to the net. My experience was that the disks provided by BT were not up to date with the mac OSX operating system, so hence your possible need to contact them when connecting for the first time to the net. Once you have managed to get hold of BT, you need to ask for the Macintosh section. They will then guide you through the settings. Its fairly painless to set up once you have managed to get hold of someone in BT. Bit of advice, once you are connected to the net download FIREFOX for your net stuff, and THUNDERBIRD for your email. Trust me you will find it much easier this way than using SAFARI and MAC MAIL. Hope this helps?

Internet protocols like tcp/ip are platform independent so it should work with Mac, PC, Linux, or any other system capable of using tcp/ip. Get the iMac, and like keepsondancing said, don't use Internet Explorer. It's a good idea to use something else on any computer!

Only one correction. You can use Internet Explorer on a Mac, any Mac. You will need an older version of IE for an older Mac OS prior to OS X. But you shouldn't use IE since it is full of security holes.

Certainly. However, for any Internet application, IE is not the browser of choice. Choose Firefox (Mozilla) or Safari as your default browser.
