toilet seat up or down ? - women have u no hands ???

is life really that easy for u that all u have to complain about is the fact that a man raises the seat to wee ??

or am i wrong - discuss

It's not the fact that men raise the seat to wee that...ahem...pisses some women off. It's the fact that a) we rarely seem to be that good a shot even with the seat up, and b) we don't have the thoughtfulness to put the damn thing down again when we're done.

Mathematics is waaaay against us here. There are three main circumstances in which the seat needs to be down - two for women, one for men. There is only one occasion that generally requires the lifting of the seat. Therefore the law of averages means we should assume that the next usage will be a sitting-down usage, and we'll be right three times out of four. There's no real excuse for not putting the seat down.

I usually don't complain if a man forgets, but since you seem like a jerk..I probably would. What is tough about when a seat is left up is when you get surprised, like in the middle of the night, and go to use the bathroom and fall through! Plus it is gross to look at where some of you miss and it is all over the rim.

We just don't want to have to fumble around in the dark handling urine covered toilet seats from the men having a poor aim.

A good way to end the argument is for both sides to always put down the lid and that helps keep the nasty sewer smells down to a minimum.

I always leave the toilet lid down, this is a matter of hygiene. Have you any idea of the germs that travel when you flush the toilet, recent testing found that most peoples toothbrushes had toilet related germs in them.

So to avoid arguing over the toilet seat been left up, think of your toothbrushes if you flush without the lid down!

Suppose the man misses the Toilet and hits the seat, then somebody else comes along and has to clean it before sitting down, at least we men are considerate!

Leaving the seat up doesn't bother me. My boyfriend puts the seat down, and the lid! Thats a bit annoying!

Your question begs another question... Are you men so lazy that it's an effort to put the toilet seat down or pick it up when you need to use it. Toilet seats and lids are supposed to be down otherwise they would not have been made that way!!!!!!!!!!!

In most cases i could care less if the seat is up its usually in the middle of the night that i forget to check even then its not a topic for argument but that's just me older and wiser.

if you guys were really good, you could just leave the damn thing down when you pee....better than having your girlfriends bum in the toilet water, just remember you will probably licking that an hour later and who says she'll let you know? Seems like it would be a fair trade...you didn't put the toilet seat down and now you will have to lick toilet water off her butt. Good luck.

If this is one of your important issues then I want your life! Just leave it down and avoid the controversy. There are much better things to occupy your time. I've always wanted a urinal in there - would solve one problem but probably start up another! You know they will never accept our bathroom habits - we're men!
