My son is eight and every one we have asked has got no idea what this means. It is probably really easy but they word it in a way no is meant to understand and leaves us feeling really stupid.
This is what it says.
Look at the numbers in the grid.
15 18 24 36 35 23 90 19 20 45 27 32
Choose a number and write its table fact. Work against the clock.
Be careful there are 12 numbers but two of them are not in the 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 times-tables.
Write the two numbers that are not in the tables in the boxes at the bottom of the sheet.
It is then laid out with 10 boxes that have
x = Take it the he has to put the numbers here.
At the bottom it say

A table fact is a pattern that the numbers in a table follow.

For example:

The 5 times table.

Every single number on the 5 times table either ends in - 5 or 0.

The 3 times table.

The pattern of the last digits in the 3 times table is as follows -
3, 6, 9, 2, 5, 8, 1, 4, 7, 0 repeated ad infinitum.

Okay hope this helps.
From the list of numbers that you gave there are two numbers that are prime numbers (divisible only by itself) 19 and 23, so these are the two numbers that are not in the 2,3,4,5 and 10 times tables.
Then work out the rest of the numbers, eg 5x3 = 15, 3x6 =18, 4x6 =24, 4x9 =36, and so on...at least that is what I think it means.

23 and 19 are the answers...

All the other number can be divided into 2,3,4,5, and 10.

Example: 5x3= 15 9x2= 18 8x3= 24 12x3= 36 7x5= 35
10x9= 90 10x2= 20 9x5= 45 8x4= 32

He needs to find the 2 numbers that are not divisble by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10.
Then he needs to explain why. The teacher said they have been learning it. If he doesn't remember have him go through each times table with each number till you find the 2 numbers.
I see which 2 numbers it is.

hahha, yeah i think it means: eg. for 15 put in the box below 3x5 and for the 2 prime numbers, thats why there is only 10 boxes not 12 at the bottom of the sheet....
