Congratulation St. Louis. The Chicago White Sox should have been the team to play in the series.Detroit was terrible and couldn't take the pressure.Chicago would have made the series a Little tighter in the end winning it.Detroit was obviously not the best team in the American league.

Yes, you might not have heard because national TV isn't giving the Cards a lot of coverage. Seeing the local coverage of the players, coaches, manager and their wives and kids was the awesome.

There were no cars overturned and set on fire. Everyone behaved themselves even though they were partying, drinking, and celebrating. The Cardinals organization let the fans who could not get tickets into the stadium for the after-game festivities and there were no incidents of charging the field, taking unauthorized souvenirs, etc.

Yepper...The worst regular season team to ever win the World Series...only 83 regular season wins (lowest total ever for a WS winner).

CONGRATS!! The Cards got hot at the right time...the postseason.

My father, who lives about 5 hours n. of St. Louis, told me last night that they won. Yes, first time since 1982, right?

Congratulations, Cardinals and Redbird Fans.
