The clothes we wear - we copy what they wear. Their food (fast food actually) - burgers, fries, pizza, hotdogs, etc. Their music - its the influence of MTV. The movies in Hollywood - we watch more American movies than local ones.
Some holidays like All Saint's Day and All Souls Day are now combined and known as Halloween (complete with spooky parties in costume). Christmas is also more of Santa Claus than of Jesus Christ. We tend to remember buying gifts than completing the Simbang Gabi like the old folks do. And also the celebration of Easter. Many look forward to parties where they will look for Easter eggs than going to church. Times have really changed.

First of all, they try to copy the US govenment (maybe not too successful at it yet, but they're trying). That's what started the whole "Americanization" thing -- right after the Americans left the Philippines. Then the Americans left their military bases in the Philippines. So most of the surrounding areas of the bases, the busineeses tend to imitate American businesses to cater to the American military people stationed there. Now, even after the US bases closed, a lot of Filipinos love imitating Americans, some of the examples:
Fast Foods (like McDonalds, Burger King, etc.)
The way they talk English
English as the main language in schools
Malls
MTV/VH1 (and music -- Filipino singers singing like Americans)
TV shows (like Big Brother)
Cable TV
Clothes
Magazines (FHM, etc.)
I think the only original Filipino thing that's left are the Jeepneys? Lol...

Even the jeepney is not "original Pinoy". It's a mod of the U.S. Army Jeep. Unless you mean the decorations. Come to think of it, look what else the Americans left behind: Spam and corned beef.
