No country can afford Socialized Health Care.
All of Western Europe will end up being Third World Countries because of it, and their other socialist programs.
People from the EU and Canada that have money come to the USA for health care.
Corporate welfare creates jobs for us working people.
Most of our foreign aid is a waste, In My Opinion.

Socialized health care is the big issue facing this country. Sad to say, that idea was shot down in 1993 by the AMA, American Medical Association through millions of dollars poured into lobbyist and propaganda. The medical community cried that if health car was socialized it would hurt medical research and development. Not saying however that the federal government gives the bulk of funding for R and D. Also in socialized health car countries like France, the citizens there live on average four years longer than Americans. So, in this country, medical issues are big business issure.

Take the profit that the insurance company's make out of the cost of medical care, then lower the cost of medicine, save the 10 billion a month that we send to Iraq every month. Raise the tax on the very rich and the large corporations. Yes, is affordable and money well spent to have a healthy population.

Well sure we could but that will never happen because corporations have a stranglehold on our government policys.
Why would a corporation give up not only paying no taxes, but getting a massive tax refund, all the whilst having phone operators in bangladesh that it can pay 50 cents an hour to, yet still have an office in the US to take advantage of this tax set up?

We could afford not only socialized health care for everyone but free college educations as well and we all could discontinue paying into Social Security and still receive the benefits from it!
We can afford to give all Iraqi people free health care and college educations now can't we? Afterall! we have been doing it for the last two years!
