Almost Famous and Easy Rider. When you put Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Jack Nicholson in a film together, its an amazing film as well.

"Robocop"
It's a simple yet emotionally involving story. Plus, the multiple themes work on so many levels (man vs. machine, '80s excess, society's desensitization to violence, etc.).
Also, the Star Wars Saga (with the obvious exception of Episode I and the very necessary inclusion of the Clone Wars animated series) is a personal favorite.

Mine is an oldie from back before most people in here were born. It is Casablanca, a classic from the 40's starring some of the best actors ever. (Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, etc.)

Ever seen Hercules Returns (the Aussie comedy)? Not classy, but hell funny. Oh, and the old classic Blues Brothers. Love my funny stuff. Pirates is right up there, though, and the LOTR movies.
