First of all, DON'T DO DRASTIC WEIGHLOSS PROGRAMS. You always gain the weight back. This is how my husband and I keep our weight down. Eat what you want for breakfast and lunch. But eat something light for supper because it's the meal before you go to bed. We have a big salad, as much as we want at night. We're full and we keep our weight low by doing this. Good luck. You can do it!

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent (not backbreaking) workout as well.

Well, let's start with a scientific discussion of weight. Weight is usually measured with a scale, and it reflects the gravitational attraction between two objects, such as your body and the Earth.

You can reduce that attraction by reducing the mass of one of the objects. You could either make the Earth lighter, or you could make your body lighter.

It is kind of hard to make the Earth much lighter, so let's consider the possibility of lightening your body. And that would be ... taking in less mass than you expend for engery.

In other words, eat fewer calories. Doesn't everything become so simple when you just look at it scientifically, instead of blaming emotions or McDonald's or television or bad genes?

Of course, there's always the Flip Wilson (Geraldine) excuse: "The Debbil made me do it!"
