I want to buy a 30gb iPod. Should I buy it now, or wait until its closer to christmas when stores have sales? I guess pretty much what I'm asking is: do you think that there will be any sales on iPods, like price reductions, or getting something free?

i would wait for the holiday sale cause u will get a little cheaper, but u get nothing for free

I think according to my son there is a new model coming out, so I'm not sure which this is. But the only time I would think you could get a better price is in a downturn of lifecycle. Though it can't hurt to wait and see. I don't think at this point the price would increase.

I believe that they probably will be on sale but have you checked overstock.com? Also try the wholesale warehouse like BJ"S, Sam's & Costco, they usually sell them cheaper than the larger eletronic stores.
