I am not sure...I wouldn't think it's very common at all; however, judging by everything else that goes on in society today, it actually wouldn't surprise me much if I found out differently. In my opinion (and no offense to anyone), no matter if it's common or not, it is wrong. Especially when it's involving matters such as father/daughter, mother/son, etc.
Btw, you are not a pervert..contrary to what the answerer above me said. I've wondered about that myself; especially when I hear about acts like that...and I have no intentions of committing the act. There is nothing wrong with asking legitimate questions, that's what this forum is here for. You don't need therapy, you just want to be informed. Kudos to you.

Unfortunately a lot higher than %1.00 I can relate some small towns in the North central U.S. that have a very high percentage of incest.
This was not uncommon for Euro peons during the later centuries. Being most probably travel and distances. Tight Euro peon communities have many first cousins marrying first cousins. Some areas this was used to keep it in the family, you could say. The Romans to keep the rein in the family, the Egyptians etc. Mothers and sons, etc.
Now, with the advent of genetic studies we know what can and did happen, as with the hemophiliacs of the Euro peon kingdoms.

very common. let's just one night I was looking out my back window and saw two cousins in the car doing something very explicit. If I hadn't seen it, I would have never believed it. I had heard stories before, but never believed any of them. now, I'm pretty sure they were telling the truth.

depends on how you define incest. in some cultures, marrying one's second or even first cousin is not unusual and actually arranged upon birth. Soooo, if that fits your definition, then it happens a lot.
