if the car is a front wheel drive, and you hear the noise only when you turn or louder the sharper you turn it is prob. the CV joint. you can expect to pay about 120-180 bucks just for the part. it sucks, i have had that problem many times. the good news is, they may make the noise for a while before they actually break.

It most likely to be your left rear suspension spring broke. To test it push rear left corner of the car down and release it. If you'll hear clicking noise or if you'll feel any free play in it: then your suspension will require new springs.

Simple checks first.
Rock or nail in tire.
Then check brakes..Just take the tire off and see if there is anything unusual...loose brake pad(sign of a bad brake cylinder),uneven pad wear, broken pad...ect
If nothing wrong with tire or brakes...it could be a bearing...if your car is RWD it could be a cv joint.

sounds like a rear brakes need to be inspected, dosen't cost to look them over, or could be a wheel bearing.
