If the terrorists were not afraid of George W. Bush, they would not be trying to influence the US elections and even the Democrat mouthpiece Bob Beckle is admitting that's exactly what they are trying to do. If you vote anything other than Republican, you're caving in to the terrorist's pressure and they will be the true winners. If the Democrats prevail you had better buy your wife a burka.

They don't fear Bush, and we don't know what to expect of a new Democratic President. But I'm more willing to take my chances with a new Democratic President than continue with more of the same from the Republicans...

I want to see a new Democratic president in the White House. Bush is already a feared terrorist for too long! We don't need people like him in the White House! I say he has to go NOW!!!

The terrorists don't fear Bushbag and they won't fear any Democrat either. Their ideology doesn't allow fear on their part. We can beat them up all we want but they'll just change tactics and come back for more. What we need is energy independance and a more isolationist policy. This would get us out of the terrorists direct line of sight as the ones they hate. Let the rich Saudis, Kuwaitis , and the rest of them clean up their own mess.

I dont necessarily think they fear either one. The DO know that a democratic president is more likely to pull the US troops OUT of the Middle East, they would have to after all the noise they made about how much of a mistake it is to be there in the first place and with their anti-bush agend there is nothing else that they could do.
They don't fear bush becasue they know he can only catch them by accident (Hussain was) after all he STILL hasn't caught Bin Laden after 5 years, doesn't even seem like he's much trying anymore. Bush is pretty much a joke (according to my contacts) and the terrorists know that as ineffectual as he has been against them....anyone else will be even less so....

Iraqis want us out of Iraq. Poll after poll shows this. The US is a foreign occupier which has bombed their country, deposed and humiliated their leader, disbanded the government bureaucracy, dismissed the army and police, and favored one religious group over another. Electricity is unreliable and clean water is difficult to find. Unemployment is 75%. Children cannot play outside or even go to school. There's been anarchy in the streets for at least a year and it's gotten worse even though the US has added 8500 troops in Baghdad. Death squads capture, mutilate and murder dozens of men each night. Suicide and other bombings kill dozens more each day. Nearly every Iraqi has had a loved one murdered in the past 3 years.
The literal man in the street draws an association between the US presence and these conditions. They want the US out, and they fight every day with this in mind. They express their wishes when they launch an average of 800 attacks on our troops each day. They don't need to directly influence the US elections or concern themselves with who is elected US President in 2008; they are in a brutal struggle for existence.

Neither. They are terrorists. They kill their own people every day. They blow themselves up. Why would you think they would be afraid of the u.s. no matter who was president. The only difference will be if a democrat gets in office they will pull out the troops. Bin Laden will come out of hiding and the will say Allah is on their side. That will just embolden the terrorist to come over here again.

We're not voting on president this time around, but in '08 definitely vote for change. Stay the course is not working and is making the country less safe. Just look at Iran, N. Korea. These countries got or will get nukes on Bush's watch.

A new Democratic president, of course. They see that Bush zigzags back and forth, and only bluffs like a chicken with the head cut off..
And they see that he lost the respect of Americans

What gives you the impression terrorists fear Bush? Judging by the amount of strife in the world, I don't think that statement is true.
