Mr. Rogers is the late Fred Rogers, the host of the long running PBS series Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. He passed in 2003.

Fred McFeely Rogers was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, U.S., 20 March 1928. Better known to millions of American children as Mr. Rogers, he was the creator and executive producer of the longest-running children's program on public television, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. He died on February 27, 2003 at the age of 74.

Mr Rodgers is Fred Rodgers from Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood.
He has been on PBS forever it seems like, (well over 50 years and still syndicated after his death).
He was a preacher, who wanted to teach children, and entertain them. A wonderful man. He was based in Pittsburgh Pa. And he worked with Childrens Hospital on many occasions for fundraising, and helping children out on occasions when visiting the hospital many times.
He was a kind and generous man always giving of himself.. A true Christian and follower of JESUS CHRIST.
