Only choose Tiscali if you can speak Bengali, Urdu or any of those Indian languages, because if you can't you'll be f****d when something goes wrong - and how's this: I couldn't get at my emails on Tiscali and when I eventually managed to get an emails OUT to them, I specifically said "Don't reply by email, because I can't access them - you'll HAVE to phone me back", and you won't need 58 guesses as to what they did....... because later that day, it all came back on line, and yes, sure enough, there was their bloody email telling me what to do (even though it was THEIR fault in the first place !!!) - and I'm still waiting for that phone call.
Another point: A few weeks ago I lost service (B/B) from them for five days, cost me a fortune in 0870 phone calls to them, but when I got the bill yesterday, there was no mention of the days lost, so shortly I shall be WRITING to the manager in Broadwick Street (London) for an explanation. I shan't be holding my breath waiting for a reply!!!
NEED I SAY MORE??????????????????????

We r on Tiscali and find it okish...well pretty crap really, nothing wrong with the speed....when its working. The connection fails quite a bit and the customer service is useless...they r a gr8 laugh though...the internet connection isnt working so they tell u to go online 4 help! Its like how the hell am i supposed to do that! But giving credit where credits due, its good when it works, pretty fast and cheap

We have Tiscali at work and I think that it is pretty awful - their lines often break down!
I started off with freeserve, which went to wanadoo and is now orange! I still have the original freeserve disc and if I have a problem I still use the same number. Mind you, I am only on dial-up at the moment - but I find they are good and it is worth checking out the website!

I've been on tiscali for broadband and telephone for about five months and I think it's a good service and much cheaper than BT. I'm v happy with their service and size of phone bills.

Am a Ticali person for ages,
find it OK
but direct enquiry's a real pain
It`s in India and some operators are
not so good to understand.
phone/ stick with BT as it cn take three weeks
to fix a fault

Their customer service is horrid and if you try to cancel you will end up paying for a full year anyway, and you may have trouble switching because they "forget" to free up your phone line. A really, really bad choice.
