Does anyone know any good web sites where I can find out what has-been actors are doing now.. e.g actors that used to be on coronation steeet/Eastenders in the 1980,s or used to be in grange hill etc etc.

Either www.imdb.com or www.tv.com are good and fairly accurate.
If you have specific people in mind you could also do a Google-type search to see if they either have a dedicated website or a Wikipedia entry (although these are sometimes very inaccurate).
