Give it a heap of potassium which will make the cell walls in the plant grow thicker. this helps to stop fungi and other pathogens from penetrating the cell.
also, try spraying a fungicide on it when about to flower and when fruit is forming

Pyracantha species - are highly susceptible to a "bacterial" disease called FIREBLIGHT [Erwinia amylovora]

The disease can have a devastating affect on a wide range of trees & shrubs.

In the case of Pyracantha it is usually the blossoms that are affected - turning the blossoms into a slimy mush - no blossoms no fruit [berries] In rare extreme cases, I have seen the leaves falling off.

As Gardener with over 35 years practical experience, I would hesitate considering including Pyracantha into planting schemes.

Further, in the UK Fireblight is still a notifiable disease, any known or suspected outbreak must by law reported to DEFRA.
