I have my mtnl triband connection with fixed IP.
I have configured fixed IP on my ADSL modem.
My local PCs are connected to MODEM through D-Link switch.
I want to run webserver on one of my local PC and NAT this PC through Modem on port 80(or any other port). so that when one type in my fixed IP in his browser shud get response from my web server. Please let me know necessary steps to perform and any know how you can share with me.

1. open the modem menu on your browser (usually set on address 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1)
2. then enter the username password mostly 'admin' or 'administrator'
3. open the option of port forwarding and forward the required port(80 and 8080) to your computer's local address!

and you are done!!

You need to enable port forwarding or the like in the adsl router so that requests to your website get channeled to your webserver
