I am 15, this year I am taking my 4-year-old brother trick-or-treating. I am dressing up as a 'plushie wolf,' I made furry wolf ears and a long, stuffed wolf tail. They look awesome! Am I too old to actually trick-or-treat, as in collect candy?

Heck no that's not too old. I'm in my mid 20's and I'm going Trick Or Treating with my 1 and 1/2 year old. I still don't know what I'm gunna be.... maybe I'll just be a "mom" for Halloween. Hehe...

nah. i say if ur willing to dress up and put forth so much effort than you deserve the candy!! i used to take the neighborhood kids trick or treating and since i look about 5-10 years younger than i am, i'd get candy too. i did this until i was 20 and moved away. but, hey, the parents weren't able to take them and i was there...i got free stuff out of it...i can't complain. after we'd trick or treat we'd usually do the swap candy thing. bartering for the better piece in exchange for a few of the not-so-favorites!! good times, good kids. go out and have fun with your little brother. i'm taking my two year old daughter and my niece and nephew. i'm now 26, so no candy for me...well, i'll be getting my daughter's...i don't allow her a lot of sweets... but i won't be trick or treating.

No just do it. Especially since you are taking you little bro, which is sweet. No one is gonna mind giving you candy. I went went I was 17 ( I am really short so I looked 12) and people were really nice. I got a lot of candy too. I really am too old now, but I wish I could go. Hope you have fun and happy Halloween!

I told my daughters 12 and 14 that they were to old to go trick or treating, but I dont see anything wrong with you going if your taking your 4 year old brother with you, if you knocked on my door I would think it was nice of you to take him I would give you candy..

No, go and have fun. You only live once. If anyone gives you a hard time...blow their house down.

It's very sweet to take your brother..I'd give you extra candy if you came to my house.
