Attraction is based on beauty of the subject. Sexual desire is based on wanting to engage in sex with the subject. I find Hugh Jackson (x-man guy) very attractive. He is just an attractive man. I do not feel sexual desire for him. I do not wish to make love to him. So I guess it is possible to be attracted to a gay man and not be gay.
And I am sure that many other people have mentioned it. But the term "normal" is just so poor. You should try to figure out who you are before you start calling people normal, and outside normal.

Certainly. Love and attraction are gender blind. That's why you can be straight (I assume 'normal' means straight in your world), love women to death, never look at another man, then see one who completely puches all your buttons even though no other man will do it for you, only women.
