I'm not devistated, it would have been great if they had won the world series, but you can't have everything. I am proud to be a tigers fan even after their loss. They won the american league championship. Think about what they did do instead of what they didn't do. They will get it next year.

Sad to say, but disappointment seems to follow us around with our favorite teams,. I;ve been a fan of the Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions all my life and have had to get used to this. But, on the other hand, the Tigers made great strides this year and it was great to see them back in the playoffs for a change. It's an old cliche but "Wait til next year".

I am sad and happy all at the same time - if that makes any sense. Sad they didn't win the series but happy to see them evolve into the team I always believed they could become. Thank you Tigers for giving us an incredibly exciting year and I look forward to many more years ahead. Win or Lose the Tigers will always by my #1 team

I'm okay with it.
Yeah I am disappointed. The Tigers were sloppy and didnt play thier usual brand of baseball.
But it's good. They lost to a team that deserved it as much they did (unlike the ny muts--who did NOT deserve anything!!!!)(sorry j-far...)
The Tigers are still American League Champions!
and that, my friend, is better than I ever could have hoped for back in April.

I AM actually from Detroit (I'm saying that because everyone who says they are from Detroit really aren't but like a small little suburb outside of it). I sort of knew that the Cardinals would win...I mean they gave the whole gave away with all their flops and errors...but it isn't the end of the world. I am a much bigger Pistons fan...but since we are sort of used to losing the most important games (like someone else said, lol), what can I say? Lol. But they BETTER win next year...It's depressing, but I gotta say, going from basically the worst team in the league, to beating the Yankees, and making it to the World Series, you gotta hand it to them and be proud! Yay :-)

we are from detroit and we're used to losing in the playoffs [ red wings , pistons and now the tigers ] the detroit lions are losing almost every year and never make it to the playoffs...hey life goes on....win or lose
