how can you blame God if you say you don't believe in God?

Because people like to put things in boxes with little tags on so that their simple minds understand them better. These kinds of people generally think that the only kind of seat you can have has four legs. You will never find them buying a stool or chair that rocks or even one that has no (shock horror) legs because their world would be far too complex if this were the case. But fear not these people are few and far between, cross dressing is different for everyone who does (and doesn't) and doesn't need (like many things) to be labelled. xx

Because is is associated with being gay and the public hasn't accepted the growth in that area (to date) . Most history is built on the so called "family values" lifestyle but with the new age media that is slowly changing. I think the more people get expsed to different beliefs we'll see more accetpance to dressing up. Maybe a new President with more Liberal views would speed things up. Many men though are homophobic because they want their macho image and would rather bash a crossdresser than appreciate the diversity.

Do you know what compulsive crossdressing is? It's an addiction. This is a man who NEEDS to dress in woman's clothes.
When a crossdresser wears woman's clothes there is a release of neurotransmitters in his brain.. The brain produces a strong opiate called Endorphin as well as other neurotransmitters like serotonins. These give the crossdresser the feeling of sexual gradification, well-being, attachment, and fulfillment. As he gets older the crossdresser needs greater and greater stimuli and sometimes this results in the crossdresser having a sex-change.
Crossdressers are often heterosexual, but their wives often complain that they feel like they are their husband's second love. The crossdresser wants his spouse to encourage his crossdressing and even to make love to him when he is dressed in his female alter-ego.
Often times the crossdresser will take great pains to create a female alter-ego for himself. He will even give it a name, and he will usually fall in love with his alter-ego.
Normally society believes that it is healthy for boys to want to be boys and for girls to be happy being girls. When a boy wants to dress and act like a girl then this is regarded as unhealthy.

Its not. There are more straight men wearing women's panties under their Armani suits than anyone would ever admit.
People get nervous and fearful when they cannot easily identify someone by what they see on the outside. Anything that people are afraid of, even when they can't tell you why they are afraid, is going to be wrong to them.
What goes on in this forum has very little to do with the outside world.
Just a footnote, in some countries women are still being stoned to death. Why doesn't really matter, does it?

Like most things that are not classed as 'normal' Cross dressing is seen as wrong. It is all down to a lack of understanding. Cross dressers do not harm anyone in anyway - or at least no more than other people. If you do not Cross Dress chances are you will not understand. It is a bit like a straight male or female not understanding why gays and lesbians are the way they are. People are different and have different preferences. Live life to the full and enjoy yourself.

The conservative streak in western society shuns difference and change, especially when it involves subjects with overt sexual connotations. Crossdressers can be either gay or straight, and they can be either tranvestites or transsexuals. The existence of such a range of possibilities tends to unnerve large sectors of our society. When others can't be immediately defined, some people simply recoil. To quote Alexander Pope:
His wit all see-saw between that and this,
Now high, now low, now master, up now miss,
And he himself one vile Antithesis.
Amphibious thing! that acting either part,
The trifling head, or the corrupted heart,
Fop at the toilet, flatt’rer at the board,
Now trips a Lady, and now struts a Lord.

Why? its always the other person is more wrong than me syndrome. Seriously, I think people need to worry about themselves more and then they can worry about saving the world. I find it funny seeing stories on tv about people bashing this and that and it turns out they have kiddie porn on their computer.
When a person decides they are perfect enough for the world, only then can they judge. Do what you want, be proud, understand that you can never satisfy everyone, and I think you'll be happy.

first let me state this for the record, i dont believe its wrong to cross dress at all. with all of the "unisex' fashions out there, who is to say that a man wearing a unisex outfit is dressing in womens clothes and vice versa??? i for one think nothing of it, mainly because before i started down the road towards being a woman (i was born male), i crossdressed for many years. nearly 40 in my case all totalled up. my first experience as a "crossdresser' involved a lost bet to my brother and my mother coming home from work early and catching me in HER underware - bra, panties, skirt, blouse and high heels. needless to say she was NOT amused by what she saw. her idea of "punishment" was to make me wear girls clothes to school for a whole month and to dress like a girl at home as well. i told her i hated the idea but in truth i loved every second of the snickers, laughs and name calling at school, because i knew - finally - what i was meant to be....a girl. i started dressing in private shortly thereafter and about 11 years ago, i came out in public en femme for the first time and havent looked back. about 6 years ago i made the decision to start the long road towards becoming a "physical woman", and my final surgery will take place in august of 2007.
to make a long answer short.....i see nothing wrong with it. at all. especially in light of the unisex looks of yesterday and tomorrow.

Basically because society is scared of anything different and if the media gets hold of it its taken way out of proportion. Take Beckham wearing a sarong, most of the men east wear them but when he did media went mad.
People always look at the packaging instead of whats inside when it comes to clothing and are always told what to think, which they do.
It always makes me sick when religion is brought into this arguement as something that was thought of thousands of years ago doesn't mean it right for today. For gods sake we are meant to evolve, if they had their way we would still be stonening women for the way they dress.
Wear what you want, where you want and how you want and break the mold, I'll still like you.

I don't know and it's only liars that say that the bible says God abhors it. They don't show the passage chapter or verse. the liars only say things like I do remember. Why not at least say the book it's in whether Genesis, Exodus or leviticus or ? no mention of that is proof what they say is a lie They are as bad as those that are prejudiced for the colour of ones skin!.. In Exodus it says: What shalt thou gain if thou gain the world and lose thy soul (spirit)? I think that means we should live our spirit and if that includes crossdressing so be it! All those that are prejudiced against it are going to H E L L
