What professions/careers/further education (e.g.Masters or PhD) can you do from a Linguistics degree?

Although its teaching - you could become someone who teaches english as a foreign language

There may be travel involved and you do not have to be limited to teaching just children

I guess you will have to speak more than one language for this but it may be worth it

Also speech therapy may be an option

well, career wise. Linguistics degrees a quite limited, in that you are drawn towards teaching.... however you can do conversion courses if you want to go into law and other fields....
you can do a masters in any subject. Although I will leave with a degree in Linguistics- am going to take a masters in something completely different: business administration or something like that.
you can do whatevr you put your mind into doing...

I have a masters Degree in Lexical Semantics and BOY was that a mistake! The only thing I can do is teach English and I hate #@!!ing children.

I'm currently employed in a call centre. Trust me, don't do it!
