Hohoho :)
If Christmas is your birthday, it makes it difficult to separate the 2.
What you can do is offer an additional special gifts for birthday.
Any form of personalized gift is always an appropriate gift. For instance, you can give personal notes mentioning about the qualities of the recipient that are similar to those of Jesus. This would be an ideal Birthday Christmas gift for those who share birthdays with Jesus Christ.
Here are a few birthday christmas gifts ideas:

I am guessing someone has a combined birthday? I do too. I like it when someone gives me two presents. Its hard enough having a birthday on a holiday let alone when people assume that its one occasion. If you can't afford to spend for both, split the amount, but buy two smaller gifts. One, wrapped in traditional birthday design. Nice gifts are gift cards for a restaurant when your birthday falls on the holiday, you get a chance to have a meal out when things are hectic, and its not like a store card where the person will be tempted to buy a holiday gift for someone else at a time when everyone wishes they had more money.

My son's birthday was the 31st of August and we bought him a wooden trike (12 months +), which he sits on, but can't push himself along yet! Also some wooden blocks, a toy piano by Chicco... to be honest though, he prefers walking up and down the room all day collecting things from around the room and handing them to me. He doesn't play with much at all! The one thing he LOVES (but we have lent to a friend) is his push walker... he's been walking since 10 months and almost running at 12m, but still loves push walkers! If your son's birthday is very soon after Christmas, you could buy everything before... but unless you want any "bestsellers" (unlikely for a 1 year old) then I wouldn't worry too much about selling out. It would probably be much cheaper after Christmas as you'll hit the Boxing day sales! Even if you have to wait for something to come in stock, he'll have plenty to keep him going from Christmas and isn't going to mind if his birthday present is much later!

Love and Good Health are two presents everyone could use on those occasions. You will need more details to get a more commercial response. Age, Sex and Cultural background would really come in handy.

Always think about stuffs that the person would really appreciate and love. If you can find out his wishes, you granting them will be the greatest.
Or, you can always give him/her stuffs that heshe will benefit from, like a ticket to the games, a day at the spa or gym, a special treat at the mall, etc.

a gift that shows you thought of that person's interests and their personality. For example an old Elvis album for an Elvis lover. A Mary Engelbreight calender for those who love her stuff. A movie certificate for a nephew who dates.
