i have no hope at all in getting the correct answer but i may as well try. There is a song and i think it was out in the 80s and it sounds pretty upbeat and im sure the courus says summit about "living in a movie". I dont expect anybody to know but thanks anyway.

i think you might be talking about the song 'Pop Trash Movie' by Duran Duran.
The band's from the 80's and that's the only song that has a 'living in a movie' chorus.
