I think it's best not to be too desperate to find someone else, but learn to be happy with yourself, otherwise when you get in a relationship you are constantly scared of it going wrong, or you put up with things you shouldn't because you're afraid of being alone. I used to be like that, but now I try and make sure I have got enough hobbies and social life and friends that I know I can be happy(ish) without a partner, so then when I do find someone I can just enjoy it and not be quite so needy. (That's the theory, anyway...)

internet is the last place u shud be lookin for love, though at times people do meet real people, but its one in amillion chance....u r 26 shud be a good a age for havin fun, based on which region of the world u come from.
find a new hobby like a dancin classes, u meet nice people there....what is needed in life is change within urself to change everything around you!!

It is useless to look for your true love...now....as your looking for someone to fill that depression..or even being lonely?
That's no good!
You need to be o.k. alone....then! when the right guy comes around...you will not have that baggage...and expect him to fill the void.
