I'm always polite. When I worked at McDonald's a few years back, I always hated it when people ignored me, and I was known as one of the nicest people there. All my regular customers loved me!
So now, I make it my goal to make each service employee feel better than they did before they served me. Even if I have a complaint, I never raise my voice, and I'm always polite.

working in the hospitality industry as a concierge,I am always nice to everybody who comes in to the club. If they ignore me I always make a point of saying have a nice day. for me to ignore someone I am not being very proffesional at all.

I treat any service employee as I would want to be treated, with kindness, respect and gratitude for a job well done and a generous tip.;

I treat eveyone the same as I want to be treated. I am one of those people that still says hello to people as she passes them in the street.... not a city street full of people rushing to go to work.. but my local neighbourhood streets.
It doesnt cost us anything to smile and say hello and it makes people feel nice, so why wouldnt you say it.

I've been on their end. I'm never ever rude to service employees. I know how terrible their job can be.
