Absolutely!
NO! No human is perfect.
People do hide or downplay some of his mistakes, and try to convince people some of his mistakes weren't really mistakes. There are huge public relations apparatus groups that trumpet his actions and try to put the best possible face on him. The only difference between him and any other politician is the amount and effectiveness of his public relations machines.
No, not lame for asking. I can't tell if you are being facetious or are really a true believer. We aren't quite at the point yet where people are rounded up for asking questions such as this.

Talk about a gigantic and controversial question...
Bush is human, ergo he can make a mistake. He has stated this publicly.
Yes, as all men with power, Bush has people to lie for him to protect him. Likely, not always with his knowledge or blessings.
You are not lame for asking. And I do not see your question as emanating out of liberal-bias. The American democracy is in a state of failure. We no longer have representatives, we have politicians. If you listen to the news services, the actions in Iraq are not addressed as what's best for our men, but rather how those decisions will affect the political landscape in the coming elections. The same is true about N. Korea, Iran, etc.
US Democracy is about "By the people." This is simply not the case currently. Here's a thought test. Ask yourself this: if 68% of the people living in America at the time of the American Revolution would have disagreed with the idea of revolting, what would have happened? Obviously, either a) there would have been no war as there would not have been nearly enough people for soldiers or logistical support or b) the war would have been exceptionally brief, and the British would have made quick work of it all - there would be no America.
Okay, even though there is much more to say, I'll climb down off the soap box and await the inevitable reactions. Vote everyone out - let's begin anew - it can't get worse... ;)

All human beings make mistake. For a Biblical reference, even one of the chosen Disciples proved to be a mistake.

Yes the president can make mistakes, but we made the bigger mistake of re-electing him.

yea you are...anyone including a president makes mistakes...no one tries to hide mistakes, in this day and age of press and imbedded reporters, do you honestly think anything woudlve been hidden for long. you need to stop blaming the president for failures of your life and look inward.
liberal philosophy by itself is skewed and flawed. when you look to the governemtn rather than yourself for support and social intervention where they have no place being we all pay.
the government in every sense is the people and the hillary clinton philosophy of it takes a village is doomed from the start because we arent all suited to intervene in your unique problems.
